Sister Ann Bremmer, a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is a member of the Sisters of St. Francis of the Neumann Communities. She entered her congregation in 1980. Ann holds a B.S. in Education from Duquesne University and a Masters in Health Administration from St. Louis University. She completed work on a Masters degree from the Franciscan Institute at St. Bonaventure University in 2006.
Sister Ann taught in Catholic grade schools in Pittsburgh and in Texas. She was the vocation director for her religious community. Sister Ann also served as the C.O.O. at St. Francis Medical Center in Pittsburgh and St. Francis Hospital of New Castle. From 2003 until 2009, she was Director of the Portiuncula Foundation which was founded in 2003 to support efforts that advance health and well-being in the communities where the Sisters of St. Francis live and work. She joined the Franciscan Pilgrimage Programs in 2004 and continues to lead pilgrimages to Franciscan Sanctuaries.
In 2012, Sister became the Pastoral Associate at Sts. John and Paul Parish in Wexford and is presently the Pastoral Associate for Holy Spirit Parish, Lawrence County.
