Unfortunately, here at Holy Spirit Parish, we frequently are targeted by scammers sending text messages or emails supposedly from our clergy or staff members. We take every action available to combat these scammers and report every one we (or a parishioner) receive. We encourage you to learn how to recognize and avoid scams and phishing attempts. We also encourage you to let us know if you receive a suspicious email or text, and block/report these texts and emails through your cell phone, cell provider, or email provider. If something seems off, give us a call at the office to confirm before replying to the message or clicking any link found within.

Additionally, we do not use email or text to ask for money, a favor, gift cards, something secretive, etc. If we have a similar need, we will always make a personal phone call or talk with you at Mass/in person.
