On March 9, 2024, Holy Spirit Parish was gifted an authentic copy of Saint Pio's birth certificate by the Mayor of Pietrelcina presented by the Saint Pio Foundation's CEO, Luciano Lamonarca. This gift has never been granted outside the city of Pietrelcina, Italy.

On March 9, 2024, Holy Spirit Parish unveiled the "I Embrace You" Statue in St. Mary Church. This statue is the only full-size replica in the world of the original statue located in Pietrelcina, Italy (Saint Pio's hometown) and was gifted to the parish by the Saint Pio Foundation in order to cement the bridge between New Castle, PA and Pietrelcina, Italy.
